Targets and Goals   (SDG's)

SUSTAINABILITY is a movement dedicated to cementing a better future for all.

In 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) were adopted by world leaders at an historic UN summit.

They strived to hold leaders accountable, and to educate and empower others to take action. They work to ensure that voices of our society are heard for generations to come.

What are the Sustainable Development Goals?

All the 17 goals are ;

  • (1) No Poverty

  • (2) Zero Hunger

  • (3) Good Health and Well-being

  • (4) Quality Education

  • (5) Gender Equality

  • (6) Clean Water and Sanitation

  • (7) Affordable and Clean Energy

  • (8) Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • (9) Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

  • (10) Reducing Inequality

  • (11) Sustainable Cities and Communities

  • (12) Responsible Consumption and Production

  • (13) Climate Action

  • (14) Life Below Water

  • (15) Life On Land

  • (16) Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

  • (17) Partnerships for the Goals.

Sustainable development can be defined as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

This sustainable development goal focuses on developing and expanding renewable energy resources such as sun, wind, hydropower, liquid and solid biofuels, biogas and geothermal. These renewable sources of energy don't emit greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere and therefore are ideal for the environment and human health.
